An Unorganized Guy’s Tips On Ways To Make A Bedroom Immaculate
Cleaning one’s room can be an arduous task. It seems that the concept of entropy would lead us to believe that the universe is destined to become disorganized. This is certainly the case with my room. If I don’t make a concerted effort to keep it clean, it will unravel very quickly.
Over time, I have gotten much better at the process and have figured out some tricks and tips along the way. Here are some of the best ways to keep a clean room.
Everyone should own a Dirt Devil or Dust Buster. They are inexpensive, don’t take up much space and are incredibly efficient at cleaning up any pile of dust. Plus, if you get a good one, they magically know not to suck up loose change.
If you live in a small space, then you may want to get a Swiffer WetJet as opposed to a mop. They are very portable and can easily be stored in any crevice around the home.
Make Your Bed – Get in the habit of making your bed when you leave in the morning. The bed brings a room together, and if you have a clean bed, the rest will follow suit.
If you are like me, then you may instinctively throw clothes on the couch after a long day at the office, or take off your socks and never see them again. Get in the habit of putting dirty clothes in the laundry bin. It will prevent you from having to pick up stray socks from under the bed later on.
Try to clean your windows once every few weeks. They have a tendency to get very dirty fast.
Another step to take is to make sure your shoes are always together. Somehow shoes have a tendency to get away from each other, but if you keep them together, then they will take up half the space.
